Eighty years have passed since Swami's advent. Swami's ways are unique. He never hurry on any thing. Slow paces but sure results. The first dwellings in Prasanthi campus might have been built some time around the inauguration of Prasanthi Nilayam. I have seen the tiled dwellings in east prasanthi when i visited first during 65. We used to stay below the big trees and whenever rain starts, we will bundle up our belongings and stay in the verandah of some tiled houses. One or two rickety buses used to come from bukkapatnam side. But i remember walking through the fields and river crossings to reach the Nilayam during 65 and subsequent visits. No motorable roads to my knowledge. How it all turned is really a wonder. All the five star fecilities that are avilable in leading metros are now available in Parthi. Internet parlors, ISD booths and all bank branches studs the main streets of Parthi. It was a very slow but steady progress. None would have dreamt that an air field that can accommodate jet planes will be ready before the inauguration of Superspeciality Hospital. This remote hamlet with hardly few mudhouses now boasts multistori apartments with modern amenities. Apart from this, the growth of Prasanthi campus itself is mind boggling. The mejestic Administrative building and the museum on the top of hill, the planatorium, The sprawling educational complex, The music collage, the indoor stadium, and Chaitanya Jyothi musuem are some noteworthy developments. When a satellite picture of Puttaparthy was taken by a foreigner, his wife chided him for wasting around 60 dollars on such venture. The same photos when viewed later clearly showed Swami's beautiful face and his thick hair and Swami was looking at Puttaparthy. When the foreigner calculated the area which occupied Swami's face, he was astonished to find that Swami's face occupied around 800 sqkms. This is just a small example. Whereas Swami pervades the entire Universe and cosmos and transcends them. Sairam.
