Emotions play a vital role in everybody's life. How to control emotions is one of the important question to which every body should learn the answers. Emotions stem from the ego or body consciousness. The mind is concerned with the well being of the body and its happiness. There is a main reason. The mind can not survive without the instrument of body and hence it is more concerned with the welfare of the body. Mind harbours thoughts which turn into desires. If such desires do not fructify, emotions like anger well up in the conscious. Hence the best way to tackle the emotion is to remain indifferent to the thought process. Just witness the thoughts that flow but do not do any thing or react to the thoughts. Sairam.
