When Dr.Pillai pleaded with Saibaba to transfer the sufferings he undergoes to 10 more births, Saibaba told a devotee, "Why he should suffer for 10 more births. Bring him and we will see that he finishes his karmas in 10 days. He was asked to sit by the side of Baba. Baba gave his own pillow and asked him to sit there. Dr Pillai told Baba that Nana has bandaged the feet where there is excruciating pain. Baba asked him to remove the bandage otherwise it will kill him. Lay here leaning on the pillow. Our sufferings are due to our own karmas. Now a crow will come and peck at the wound. While Baba was consoling him thus, Abdul, an assistant working in the mosque was cleaning the lamps. While doing so, he mistakenly stepped over the feet of Dr.Pillai which was paining. Due to the sudden thrust, all the 7 guinea worms came out of the feet with lot of pus. Dr.Pillai was crying due to the sudden pressing and he was crying and laughing alternatively. He begged Baba, "when the crow will come and peck him". Baba told him, Have not you seen the crow. Abdul is the crow. He wont come again. Go and rest in the wada. You will become alright. By taking the "Udhi mixed with water", Dr Pillai was completely cured by Baba thus. We have to exercise 'patience' while undergoing various troubles in the world. Baba takes care of us and we have to clear our karmas by this process. Hence do not feel sad or indulge in self pity. Swami is there by your side holding you. Sairam.
