Guest guest
It is said that Lava and Kusa recited Ramakatha in front of Rama Himself in Ayodhya. Of course none at the time were realy aware of the identity of the twins. Rama undertaken to live a life of human being too, pretended that He too is unaware. No doubt, the immortal story of Ramayana might have evoked many feelings in the mind of Rama and the queens. They too sat there like rocks silently undergoing the agony of separation from Sita. After such a long period of struggle and separation, they were unable to stem their grief of seeing Rama alone in the palace, brooding most of the time. The call of Dharma was always on the foremost in the mind of Rama. Though He evinced human feelings, still He knew what is going to transpire. Everything was enacted perfectly to suit the human role he has undertaken. Everybody who had a role to play in the great epic Ramayana, suffered untold agonies. No doubt, Kaikeyi too realised her folly after she lost her beloved husband in the bargain. What a tragedy fell on the clan of Raghu? Kausalya, Sumithra, and Urmila maintained their equinamity knowing well that the play of fate is irrevocable. They waited silently for the turn of events. Rama has a purpose in His Divine birth. It is not for mere administration of kingdom or living a royal life in the company of near and dear. "Dharma has to be restored at any cost". The incarnations of adharma had to be rooted out. They were in the form of Asuras like Ravana, Kumbakarna and Indrajit, Maricha and the like. He had to grant Dharsan to many maharishis doing their penance at places unapproachable by other human beings. Sabari has to be given salvation. The vanara sena has a purpose in the Ramayana. Not only human beings, birds and beasts enjoyed the company of Rama. Even Dasaratha was not able to get his last rites performed by Rama. But the bird "Jadayu" had the caress and comfort of Rama's touch before leaving its body. Rama performed all the rites due to it. It valiantly fought Ravana and in that process sacrificed its life for Rama. Akalya got back her form by the touch of Rama's feet. Anjaneya got the boon of living for ever. "Yatra Yatra Raghunada keertanam, Tatra tatra Grudamastha kanjaleem, Bashpavari paripurna lochanam, Marutim namatarantarakshakam"-Wherever the glory of lord Rama is sung, Anjaneya is present shedding tears of ananda hearing the pure nectarine Rama katha. Sairam. Like Lava and Kusa, all the 'Bowranikas" are getting the rare chance to recite Rama katha in front of Sairam. Their luck is rare. Sairam.
