Both 'asthikas and nasthikas' suffer from 'guilty feelings and remorse'. Those who have faith in god suffers due to their inadequecies. Those who defy god suffer from a different kind of illusion. They consider the world as real. Hence they consider the worldly achievements as real. When they find that the people who worship god do not listen to their rational speeches, they too suffer from remorse. In any society, people who follow religion or morals are more in number. We can count with fingers, people who defy god.Hence every where the "Asthikas" outnumber "Nasthikas". This is a major set back to those who preach "No God". However much they try through lectures, books and cinemas, only few peoples follow them. Everywhere there is increase in the fear of God. The world is undergoing turmoils in succession. There is no 'peace' even in the richest capitalistic societies. People are disillusioned with wealth and affluence. They realise that the pleasures of the senses are short living. Many who run after these ephemeral things ends up in mental asylum.Those who profess to follow spirituality, on the other hand are understanding the long lasting effects of service and sacrifice. Slowly their attention is turned towards spirituality and morality. They try to shun luxury and starts a life of philonthrophy. Yes. Spirituality is the only real path which will solve the problems of the world, provided every one of us sincerely PRACTICE what we learn. Sairam.
