Illiterate and innocent "Sabari" could attain salvation. Shri Rama granted her "Sayujya" which she desired from the lord when He visited the place where she lived. Everyday she dutifully plucked ripe fruits for offering to the Lord. She was not aware when the Lord will visit. She had full and absolute faith that the Lord will surely visit the Ashram where she was staying all alone. Long ago, she was instructed by the maharishi who took care of her, "Shri Rama would pass through this place one day. Await His arrival and attain your heart desire from Him". Hence she patiently awaited for His arrival. She was not educated in the worldly sense. But she was sincere in her pursuits and had abundance of Faith in the Lord. We must also cultivate such innocence and faith. Sairam.
