Guest guest
People take bath in the sea. They do not wait for the waves to subside. It wont subside. Eventhough there are waves, they just take bath in the sea. Likewise, in this world, we can not wait for situations to change. We have to perform our duties irrespective of the situations. Hence we must always perform our legitimate duties, keeping our faith in god. Many a times, we will be facing obstructions and defeat. For that reason, we should not remain idle. In the Bagawat Gita, it is ordained by the Lord, "Karmanye adhikarasya, ma paleshu gadachna". You have the authority only for the performance of actions and you should not desire for the fruits thereon. This is also called "Nishkamya karma"(Desireless actions). In a way these actions become perfect since it is not tainted by desires and anticipations. Hence let us perform our duties without any eye on the results. By this way, we gain purity of inner conscious, which will lead us to immortality. Sairam.
