We may feel, that the creator needs creation. Absolutely NOT. The creator never depends on creation. In fact, the creation needs or depends upon the creator. For example, pictures needs a screen but the screen do not depend on the pictures. Irrespective of the projection of the pictures, the screen remains. Hence Swami once said, "Irrespective of events, I am Happy". We mortals depends upon events and environments and people. For instance, you need coffee or tea in the morning. If you miss the regular coffee in the morning, you develop headache. Hence you are not independent. You depend upon every little thing that feeds your ego like newspaper, tv or cigarettes etc. Even if you miss it for one day, these creature comforts, you feel dejected or desolate and develop depression. In a way, we have become slaves to situations or things. If you want freedom, you should never depend on externals. Remain in the Self, as the Self. Sairam.
