Guest guest
If we look at the great epics like Ramayana and Mahabarath, we will feel really sorry for the misery undergone by the brothers. In the formar case, It was Rama and his three brothers. In the later case, it was Dharmaja and his four brothers. They endured innumerable sufferings. In the Ramayana, the Lord himself took birth in Raghuvamsa as the child of Dasaratha and Kausalya and his inseperable 'kalas"(A full avatar is supposed to contain 16 kalas). In this case Rama and his three brothers constitute all the 16 kalas and they were inseparable. In the later case of Mahabarath, the Lord has come as a relative, a friend, a well wisher and protector to the brothers of Pandava clan. In both the cases, the brothers underwent so much of mental agony due to the miserable turn of events due to fate. The fate is also an instrument in the hand of God. Rama never exposed him as an Avatar. Only to few ascetics in the jungles, he revealed his true identity, that too subtly. None else knew that. Many great sages like Agasthya, Valmiki and Vashista knew the greatness of Rama. Even sage Viswamitra fained ignorance in the divinity of Rama and hence he started teaching him 'manthras'(sacred syllables) to protect them from hunger and sleep. If we go through both episodes, it was a continuous journey along sorrow and disappointments. But for Krishna, Pandava brothers would not have survived. Many a time, he interfered and gave timely help to the brothers and Draupathi. Shri Rama, though an avatar, wept inconsolably at the abduction of mother Sita. He was wailing and wandering through the dark jungle in search of Sita. Of course all these are play of God. Since Rama took human form, he acted perfectly in accordance to the Dharma meant for human beings. He never transgrassed at any time righteous ways of behaviour. He foresaked even mother Sita for the sake of governance of kingdom. Outwardly it may seem, Rama was heard hearted. No. Behind every event, there was an unseen cause. Even when mother Sita underwent the "Agni pravesam"(entering the burning fire to proof her purity), she was handed over to Shri Rama by the god of Fire, stating that Sita mata is purity incarnate. All these show that Rama was more concerned with justice based on righteous living. The name "Rama" confers immortality and burns away accumulated karmas of many births. Througout Bharath, the name reverberated in every tongue. "Ramo Vigravahan Dharma". He is the embodiment of righteousness. Let the name may dance on every tongue for ever. Sairam.
