Guest guest
He was alone. There was nobody else to recognize him. Hence he separated him from himself and created a false barrier called "Maya"(Illusion) and by this he deluded a part of him, which he separated from himself. Now he created an anxiety in the separated self to get back to its original Self. This is how creation goes on for ever. To those souls which yearn to revert back to its Original position, He guides the separated one, to merge back in the whole. Other separated beings (self), unable to turn back to the source are drifting in the ocean of samsar(existence) due to the powerful winds of desires. They are wafted away from the shore into the deep ocean and they are miserably going up and down by the waves of joys and sorrows. Out of compassion to such souls, the Lord manifests himself as a "Jeeva"(encased in human vesture) and guides those drifting souls back to the shore. One such manifestation is Swami. Hence let us hold on to His Divine Feet, and get succor from this miserable samsar which is never ending. Sairam
