Guest guest
At one time, many village rustics visited Prasanthi Nilayam to take Dharsan of the Lord and invite him to visit their village. They were innocent and hence not aware of the customs that prevail in the Nilayam. They used to freely roam around and even eat the fruits that were brought to the Nilayam. Shri Kasthuri was unable to digest the rude behaviour of the village youths and hence he judged them as not fit to be in Prasanthi Nilayam since they take liberties with Swami. Swami called Shri Kasthuri to His presence and admonished him for developing 'asuya' against those village people. He told Kasthuri that He is going to visit their village soon and 'you better stay in the Nilayam since you do not like their innocent behaviour and you are thinking they are not cultured as you are". It was really an arrow piercing the ego of Shri Kasthuri. And he had to spent many lone days without Swami in the Nilayam. No doubt, it has thought a good lesson to not only Kasthuri but also to many devotees who read the episode from Kasthuri's own book on the Lord. Sairam.
