Guest guest
Creation, though an illusion has certain laws that govern it. 1. Everything that is created will be sustained upto some periods and after which it will disintegrate into primordial elements. Take the case of human body. It is made up of earth, water, fire, wind and sky. When a body is cremated after death, each element of the body merge back in their original state. Not only sentient beings, even rocks and trees are disintegrated with the earth. We now witness remnants of ancient emphires in the form of broken walls, exposed rocks, bricks and arches standing alone as an archiological evidence and style of architecture with which our ancients constructed the buildings. Even certain submerged rocky structures are found underneath the ocean in many countries. Archeologists, the world over are trying to deciphor many unknown secrets of the ancients by researching on the remains. Now, we have the remnants of the great bridge that was constructed during the period of "Rama". As only few portions of the bridge is now found and they are naturally covered with lime deposits due to reactions of the sea water, there is a dispute that is going on in the political arena whether the structure in the ocean bed that is connecting India and Srilanka is really the remnant of the bridge that was constructed during Rama's time. Hence everything undergoes changes continuously in this world. Many islands were formed due to recession in the sea level and many places are submerged due to increase in level of sea in certain places. Hence nothing in this created world remains constant for ever. The only permanant entity which remains for ever is the "Self or Atma" which pervades and transcends every thing that is seen. Sairam.
