It is Swami, who gave new meanings to the symbols of various religions. He said, Cross the Ego clean across and this represent the "Cross of the Christianity". Do not waver and remain fixed like the Star in the Crecent which represents the "Islam". In a way, it is surrender. I think "Islam" too gives the meaning of surrender. Remove all your impurities and throw it in the fire and let it consume everything-This is the holy fire worship practised by Jains. Hear the holy sound of Omkar which is the basis of every sound. Hear it within you as well as in the world outside-This represents "OM" symbol of Hindus. The wheel of cause and effect represents the Buddism. We have Sarva Dharma Ayikya Stupams established by Swami in many places including Prasanthi Nilayam during His 50th birthday.They are so beautiful and gigantic.
