Swmai and His students.

Many yearn to celeberate their birthdays with fun and frolic. It has almost become a culture in the student population. Swami's students are unique. They seek the blessings from the Lord Himself and in this way they are quite fortunate. Who else can get such blessings excepting Swami's pet students(children). i used to envy the position of students whenever i visit Prasanthi Nilayam during the 90s. Swami gives Himself fully to His students. He watches them like His eyes. They are the torchbearers of Sai society in future. Many around the world start practicing Swami's teachings in their life more so in western society. They face much problems due to lack of ethics and culture. Those societies have become purely materialistic. Hence Sai devotees there, find it taxing. However Sai service activities have started developing strong roots in the western hemisphere. Nature too is not favourable in many places. Permissive societies, mobile/internet culture have taken a toll on the character of younger generation there. Hence there is great need for propogation of Sai teachings and service activities. Due to vigourous activities of Sai samithees in India, the situation of people here have started turning to stabilize towards morality and spirituality. Even those who have resorted to bad company have started to redeem themselves by spiritual teachings and adopting good practices. Nowadays spiritual Gurus all over India attracts more people since people seek guidance to escape from this mundane existence. They have started realising that money, position, power and fame do not contribute even an iota of joy in human life. Swami too has said that He will first set right India before moving to other places. Of course, he subtly makes many changes in the life of many westerners and foreigners. Every year we witness that more and more people from other countries throng to the Nilayam to seek solace from the Lord. Long back during 80s Swami told Hislop that the foundation for His Mission has already been laid and the superstructure is in progress. We may very well surmise the progress as on date. Sairam.
