FEATURE OF THE WEEK: Scientist of the Soul

Mankind has achieved an immeasurable growth in the way it has molded its living on earth. As the most intelligent species in the universe, at least as evident at this point in time, human race has come a long way in looking at itself and its surroundings. Advances made in every category of rational knowledge have resulted in the manner our physical lives exist today. While people have responded to the science of physical nature for their betterment, the same cannot be said about the attempts to quench the yearning beyond our physical boundaries. Difficult times lead one to question those factors beyond our reasoning, while good times do not have that quest as a priority. The ingenuity of the scientists of physical world has bettered our lives and may be by doing so, has also distanced ourselves from the conscious within us. The quest to seek the conscious within for reasoning the unknown is like a dying fire that has to be fuelled. The fire is kept alive by appearance of realized souls from time to time, as if conforming to a plan unknown to humanity. Sadguru Sai Baba is one such soul that appeared as a spark at the dawn of this century. The spark has steadily grown into a beacon that shines light in the lives of innumerable people that has faith in Him. His Holiness Shri Narasimhaswamiji wrote in his "Glimpses of Sai Baba" that seers like Sainath of Shirdi are scientists of the soul. These Scientists in their own way kindle and re-kindle the quest to know the within and thus help realize the purpose life may have. The scientist of Shirdi is unique in His own way. He stood with everyone, stayed beyond the

divisions of caste and religion. He stood out as the unifying force common to all, like the sky, moon, light, and water that is the property of all.

SunandaThank you my dear Baba. I got retention at Hyderabad for one year. You know, how difficult it would have been to go to some other place this year. You have taken care of me Baba and I pray you take care of my family and me completely.

MadhuriI was very desperate for a new job and have been praying Baba for good job that suits me. And finally Baba blessed with two offers, and I was not sure and confused which one to choose, I asked Baba to choose which ever is best for me, with Baba's blessings I took one of the offer, I am very happy with my job.

ShriaJai Sai! Thank you Baba for helping me in completing my thesis. It is only because of your blessings and grace that I was able to complete my thesis while undergoing so much pain; again it is only your blessing that my thesis got accepted and approved in the first go.

RakheeOur daughter is sixteen years old and gets very difficult to handle. She doesn't study, doesn't help at home, doesn't submit her assignments on time independently, misses school very often, talks rudely to everyone, even insults me and doesn't talk very high of her father. Baba, please forgive my mistakes and guide us and help us, as I am feeling very helpless and looking towards you for help.

RamBaba, my wife and kids reached safely to India and my little one is doing good. I was worried as he was throwing up milk on the flight. As soon as they land in India he is feeling better. Thank you so much for listening to my prayers. Jai Sai Ram.

MukeshRecently my parents in India needed some help and I was thinking how can I help them sitting here in US. I asked for Your blessing and start calling my friends. Baba because of Your blessing, I got some help from unexpected source. Finally my parent's immediate issue was resolved.

AnishI would like to share my experience about how Baba wishes and help his devotees in difficulties. From long back I had severe problem with my health and studies and could not able to do well but one day my brother-in-law told me the greatness about Sai Baba. Soon after as I started praying to Baba my health got better and recovered. Not only that I was blessed with good studies but also got placed in one of the most popular University in Japan which I could not express. This all happened with the help of Baba. He is really great. Thank you very much Baba.

 

 

 

 

PRAYER CLUB:

RajaBaba, please help me to have my cool mind and guide me to take right decision. Baba, I think my ill luck is still prevailing me. Excuse me for my mistake. You have done so much for others. Please give me the strength to take decision. I want to visit You again. Please call me. I have complete faith on You and surrender to You.

MeenakshiBaba, please help my daughter to get more concentration on studies because she is not concentrating on her studies. We want her to study and get more than 1100 in her final exams and we want our ancestrial property to us. I don't know whom to surrender and tell. My only remedy is only You to sureender to Your lotus feet. Please Baba help me.

MadhuHey Sainath, Thanks for getting my sister married and blessing her with beautiful daughter. Please bless her married life and remove hurdles from her path. I pray in Your lotus feet whole heartily and thanks for showering your kindness on us. The way You have helped my sister Baba, please remove sufferings from my brother also who is going through a tough phase, please shower happiness in his life, only You can do this and I have complete faith in You.

SuneelBaba, please take notice of my tears which roll everyday during prayers at morning, afternoon and evening at home and at office. I have been begging to You for so long. Please see my problems set it right. I know I must have done some bad Karmas in previous birth. This birth I am trying to live as per Your guidelines then why all this trouble. I seek no money, no luxury, no comforts just peace. Why that is away from me. Forgive me for any unintentional or intentional sins I might have done. Please have pity on me.

ManasaSai Baba, please be with me always and guide me. I am going through this pain since three years. Please show me some direction on this issue. Baba, please show my sister-in-law the right person, she is taking wrong steps in her marriage decision. Guide her Baba. I want to settle in my life get married and live with my loved one. You know the problem's Baba, please forgive me for all my sins.

ZenobiaBaba, you are the creator and therefore know all the problems of your devotees. I have been working in an organisation for over 25 years and have been deprived of the raise in salary and grade change since last six years through I was promoted at an executive level position. My humble request to you is to provide realisation, understanding and awareness to my boss to bless me with my promotional perks and other faciliies. I promise to post it in Sai Vichaar.

SushilI humbly request Baba to please forgive me and my family memebers for any mistakes we made and kindly bless my bhabhi jee to deliver the healthy baby child since all in my family are waiting for that moment for last 5 years. Furhter, please Sai Baba bless my entire family with good health and happiness.

 

 

 

 

EXPERIENCE OF DEVOTEES:

MonicaBaba is with all those who have faith and patience in him. We were in search of a good second car which could be in our budget, went and saw cars from various car dealers for about two months, and finally came to settle with one. My husband who has tremendous knowledge and a very keen eye had inspected this car very minutely. After doing all the formalities, we went to the Shirdi Sai Baba temple at Lodhi Road, New Delhi. After offering our prayers and seeking His blessings, we went towards our car to offer prasad. To our utter surprise as we stood in front of the car to write Omkar, me and my husband noticed together a small sticker in the middle of the wind screen saying "Om Sai Ram". We just couldn't believe this miracle as we had screened the car so many times, and this sticker had gone unnoticed and became visible as soon we offered prayers to Baba. This was a blessing to us from Baba, and we were quite relieved

that we had been blessed with a good car. We all crave for materialistic and worldly pleasures, but a true devotee is who even with everything remembers Baba, and prays to him for the entire human kind.

SeemaLast month my younger brother-in-law, who was not keeping well for quite some time was diagnosed for Endocarditis, and the Echo showed significant vegetation (sort of lump of flesh) on the heart. We were all tense and worried. We prayed to Baba endlessly to have mercy since he is very young and then have kids and family to support. Every time we were getting the Echo done the results were not matching with the previous test, inspite of the medication and hospitalization, doctors were not very clear on what line of medication should they stick to (either to hospitalize him or operate him). Then finally they decided to go for a last test, (all this while we were praying to Baba that goes without saying). Finally it was decided that whatever is the result, line of treatment will be based on that last and final test. To the surprise of all that test showed no vegetation and the radiologist carried out the test said he is

not absolutely sure of the test and results. This is purely Baba's chamatkaar. Baba, we your children wish and pray to let us remain in your lotus feet and roll in the dust of your feet and keep chanting Your name. Baba, please bless us all with good health and happiness.

SrinivasanWhile reminiscing about the beneficence that our Sadguru Sai Baba so graciously showed my room mate, who has since been transferred back to Chennai, just as he had fondly wished for, the thought of one anecdote that took place recently before his relocation, cannot be dismissed as trivial. When my room mate and I traveled to Shirdi to pray for his transfer on 26th December 2007, he bought an imposing portrait of Sai Baba, so he could carry that to Chennai. A few days after we returned to Hyderabad from Shirdi, he went to Chennai on leave. On the day, he was leaving for Chennai, I fervently prayed to Baba to prevail upon my roommate to leave behind the laminated portrait of Baba. Much to my delight, Baba answered my prayer when my roommate left behind the portrait. After his return to Hyderabad from prolonged leave in Chennai and preparatory to his transfer back to Chennai, I asked him why he had left behind Baba's

portrait, he told me that he intentionally left that as a memento of our brief association in Hyderabad.
