Guest guest
The mental capacity of each individual is seperate from the rest. Some are attracted to Bhajan singing while others are interested in Seva activities. For instance, a Doctor will be expert in his own field of specialisation and may possess ordinary knowledge regarding other field of medical speciality. Hence we have seperate wings in the Sai organisation. Bala Vikas Gurus are trained to teach the young children according to the age groups, Active workers and Seva Dal volunteers participate in all seva activities. Some may be trained in security duties, some are capable in canteen duties. Some assist in medical camps, some are trained to manage "Narayana Seva" activities etc. Hence all Sai devotees need not be experts in all activities. Youth wing is given tough tasks while the elders are assaigned the book stalls and STD booths. Likewise during world conference and other major events in the Nilayam, there will be mass feeding. Those who handle the supply chain, must be robust to handle the big vessels for feeding thousands of devotees who stand in the "Q". Hence service activities too involve much planning, selecting suitable members according to their capacity etc. We might have seen that the entire Prasanthi Nilayam with Sai Kulwant hall is kept spick and clean by Mahila volunteers who wake up around 2.30 am and start cleaning, decorating with flowers and rangolis. These are all monotonous tasks. But Mahilas willingly undertake such tough tasks and keep the Nilayam and precincts beautifully. This goes on from the day Prasanthi Nilayam was inaugurated during the 50s. Those devotees and volunteers of the 50s are the backbone for the service activities. Sairam.
