Many blame the planets for their misfortune. It is our own past actions which prompted our birth, when a particular position, the planets occupy at that time. Hence, we are born to tally with those planets corresponding to our fortune or fate. Swami has also confirmed that planets and stars exercise their influence on human life. At the same time Swami warned us not to seek the advice of astrologers or palmists. The reason being that nowadays none is capable of correctly assessing the position of stars since stars too have movements with reference to the outer space. Hence, the predictions go awry. Swami has also said NOT to bother about the influence of planets and rely upon God silently uttering Namajapa. Any evil will ward off due to the effects of Nama japa. The medicines in a bottle are effective only upto a particular date. Beyond the date, though the medicines may be there, it wont have the effect. Hence, expiry date has been printed on all bottles and strips. Likewise, the effects of past actions become null and void once God's grace start acting on the individual. Hence, there is no rigid rule regarding karmapal. If we surrender at the feet of God, he will undertake to remove the bad effects.Sairam.
