Guest guest
"Brahma Sathyam, Jagat Mityam" says the scriptures, the meaning is "God alone is Real, and the world is unreal" Swami's teachings center around this philosophy only. The world is really a "Brama" or illusion. It is like the snake seen in twilight whereas there is only a rope. Only when light is focussed, the rope will be seen. Till we focus the light, we will be seeing only an illusory snake. All along there was only a rope. Likewise the screen is the only reality and the pictures are focussed on the screen. The pictures come and go whereas the screen is ever present. Likewise the self or atma is ever present and the cosmos are pictures falling on the screen of self. But for the screen, no pictures can be seen but the screen do not depend on the pictures. Hence we all owe our existence to the Self but the Self is absolutely independent. Sairam.
