The body is an iron safe for keeping the valuable Self

Between Swami and the individual self,mind is the only obstruction. The mathematical equation is Man-Mind=God and hence God+Mind=Man. Simple it may seem, but not so. Our Self is surrounded by the veil of body consciousness and 'sammoham' which is attachment to this perishable outer case. We keep money, jewels and valuables in the iron safe. Iron safe is meant for keeping our valuables safe. Just like that, our body which is the outer case is meant for the "Self" or Atma. The real valuable is the 'Self' and not the body. Hence we should keep our attention on the Self alone and not on the perishable body or monkey mind. Sairam.
