Guest guest
In a recent message, Swami has said, that our life will become insipid when all our desires are fulfilled. Yes, there must be some lacuna in everybody's life and there must be a longing to remove the lacuna. This never ending quest leads all to spirituality. In Sai Sat Charita also, it is written, "none is created to remain rich and at the same time to remain happy without any lacuna in some part of their life. This is the case of a very rich man who had all the worldly prosperity with lot of vehicles, lands and many servants to look after his need. But deep within him there was a gnawing sorrow since he was issueless. What is the use of such vast richness and at the same time to remain issueless?. Naturally he was guided to seek the blessings of Sai Samartha. And he could get the profound blessing of Sai.This is the case of every man who was otherwise prosperous in the worldly sense. When Dr.Bagawantam was narrating to Swami, that he do not lack any thing but one of his grandson is mentally retarded and that is the only grief.Swami assured him that the grief is his guru which led him to Swami.Likewise if we examine the life of any famous man, deep down in his life there will be some unknown sorrow. Hence none is created rich and at the same time to remain happy. These shortcomings make them to search for the meaning of life in this mundane world. When we go through the nectarine teachings of Swami, majority of his discourses highlight the ephemeral nature of human life and the insignificant pleasures he undergoes which turn into sorrow in due course. A man amassing acres and acres of land was forelorn at the time of his death for none bothered about him but their eyes were on the lands and property, he meticulously amassed. Such is the life of every one on this earth. Relatives will crave for our properties, Yama will try to snatch our life. The five elements will clamour for their share of this body. Not a speck of dust, we can carry to the other world. It is only the deeds which are weighed upon when we were alive. Hence, Swami emphasise, "Be good, Do good and See good". Like Newton's law, every little thing will reciprocate without fail. Atleast from now onwards carry on noble deeds. Sairam.
