Guest guest
Thursdays are holy days for Lord Dakshinamurthy and Saibaba. It is adored as "Guruvar" in many languages. The preceptor has to be proptiated on these days. Ofcourse, every day we have to revere and worship the Guru, who is the dispeller of ignorance. Swami also has chosen "Thursdays" for special dharsan. The primary school boys are brought to Prasanthi Nilayam on Thursdays in the evening session Dharsan. Prasadams are distributed after Bhajan session on that day to the school and collage boys. Sai Avatars are special in one respect. It is the consequence of the boons granted to sage Baratwaja by Lord Shiva and Parvathi. They promised that they will take birth in the clan of Barathwaja. First Shiva alone as Shirdi Sai, Shiva and Sakthi together as Sathya Sai, and finally Sakthi as Prema Sai. The mission started during the begining of 20th century would find consummation in 22nd century. Shirdi Baba from 1835-1918 and then Sathya Sai from 1926 to 2022 as per Swami's prediction and the final Sai Avatar in Gunaparthi village in Mandya district of Mysore. When Swami created a ring for John Hislop which contains a part of the side face of Prema Sai, Swami said that the Avatar is in the process. After sometime when Hislop looked at the ring, the nose portion was clearly visible(previously a part of the nose was only visible). Hence Swami's Divine Form will remain with us for another 14 years or so. If we miss the chance of connecting to the Avatar through any means in our heart, we would have missed a golden chance. Swami has said that many live in the visinity of the Nilayam but they have not yet developed the 'nearness' to the Avatar in their heart. We should never miss the golden opportunity. Sairam.
