Guest guest
River Chitravati is singularly holy, for the Lord has chosen its sandy beds as a play ground during "Bala Sai Leelas". His classmates, unable to digest his clean habits and clean shirt will plunge him in the slush of river bed. They wont let him loose until his cloths are badly soiled. Swami took everything, even the mistreatments meted out to him calmly and He never retaliated with any. He tolerated everything. He never considered 'himself as a body". Hence, He announced, "Whatever pain or sufferings the body undergoes, it wont affect Me the least. I want to show by example that we should never bother about the physical and mental realm. If you are centred in the "Self", nothing ever would affect you. Hence during the "paralytic attack and subsequent heart attacks he underwent during the period preceeding the Gurupurnima 63, He said that he kept the jyothi in the centre of Self without any movement and hence He could remain disconnected from the body mind environment. Ofcourse we are mortals and are distracted by the body's ailments and mental turmoils. We should follow Swami since Swami teaches by the way He lives.Sairam.
