Guest guest
The worldly activities are prompted by Maya filled mind. We enjoy Divine thoughts prompted by intellect which is based on intuition. Swami uses the word 'inspiration'. He says that a true intellect is 'inspired'. It is Divine communication. All other communications are worldly. But one day, each one has to abandon the mad quest of 'worldliness' and start on 'spiritual quest'. Of course, during our entire life time, we seek only Spirituality albeit in a different form. Since everybody is after peace and happiness, which is the fundamental quality of the Self, we unknowingly start chasing it through worldly achievements and pleasures. But we are all the way chasing the 'mirage'. One day or other we will come to the conclusion that our quest is really waste. It may take many incarnation to realise our folly of following the sensuous mind. Sweets eaten by us are kept in the tongue only for a fraction of a second and passed on to the gullet. How long we can enjoy the 'sweetness'? Likewise all the enjoyments from the senses and sense materials are flimsy and trivial compared to the Eternal Joy we get in "Self Realisation" or merger in the supreme Self. Many crave for an intermediate stage of remaining as an ant which tastes the sugar particles. But that is also insignificant. If we become 'sugar', then no craving will arise in us.Sairam.
