Significance of Om Sai

Every

word given by our Master of Shirdi is a precious truth to be supremely valued,

pray to Him " Let our tongue get a passion for chanting your name "

When by the grace of the Sadguru one is put in touch

with the magnetic shabd " OM SAI " the inner light shines and the

darkness of ignorance melts away. A perfect Master gives the secret of Naamajapa to his devotees and joins their souls to the

magnetic word 'OM SAI' which

should be ever ticking in an enlightened soul. Sadguru

Sai knows that which is supreme beyond 'OM' and He had

much regard for Pranava Mantra 'OM'.

 

Real and Everlasting

Once

the seed of Naamasmaran is planted, it never dies. It

must generate sooner or later and eventually the Guru God will take him into

his fold. The shabd 'OM SAI' is the only real, everlasting, unfailing guide of the

devotee and he must cultivate the ceaseless chanting of Sainaama.

The Shabd 'OM SAI'

should ever resonate in one's mind.

 

When

the Sadguru has accepted a devotee as His own, He

never deserts him and is always ready to guide him in his pain and pleasure and

put him on the right path. The spiritual value of devotion of ever chanting the

supreme name of Sai far exceeds that of any other religious path.

 

Repetition

of holy name 'OM SAI' should be done

with perfect attention in between the eyebrows and it should have close

concentration on the power of the word. We have to lean inside and see Him. The

more one is attached to Sai naama He will be nearer

to Guru and the love towards Him will be strengthened.

 

Naamasmaran ultimately

leads to meditation that will open your inner eyes and make-the image of the

Lord shine in your Heart. The tongue should ceaselessly repeat Sainaama, the chitta (mind)

contemplate on the word and the manas (heart)

meditate on His divine form. And His face, the eyes and Sai's

gaze should be riveted in your Heart. The form should be imprinted in your

mind. It should be oneness from within and without and the universal

consciousness of Sadguru Sai should be experienced.

Sages have said: " Where His mind is totally

absorbed, that is your place " .

 

" Let

not the mind wander and wish for anything except Thee " should be one's

Prayer and dhyana.

 

Easiest Sadhana

Remember

Him (Sai Baba) always with love as He was ever engrossed in doing good to all and always abided in His self. To remember Him

is to solve the riddle of life and death. This is the best and easiest method

of sadhanas and it involves no expenditure but purely

perseverance, a little exertion will bring you rewards. So long as our senses

are sound we should practice this sadhana of namasmaran of Sai. Guru is the only God to a commoner and

an erudite person.

 

Baba

told His Devotees to leave all their cleverness and always remember " SAI, SAI " " If you do that "

he said " All your shackles will be removed " when you assimilate Sai

in yourself, your mind will be merged in pure consciousness, Sai has answered

that those " who chant His name will attain

self-realization and enlightenment " .

 

Saints

of different schools have also emphasized that the essence of all sastras is in chanting of Divine name "
