Guest guest
Desires are distraction. How many times we have desired for worldly pleasures? But peace escapes from our life, every time we attempt to gain some thing from the world. World and Divine are opposite poles. If you seek the Divine, you must become immune to the attractions of the world. By pursuing worldly ambitions, you can never attain the Divine. It is like travelling on two horses. You will sustain a fall and fracture the limbs. Hence have only ONE aim.Keeping one foot on the slushy samsar, and planting the other foot on firm ground of Divinity is of no use. Take the firm ground of Divinity and do not enter into the slush. By that way, you can definitely gain peace. Sairam.
