Guest guest
Mind is duel. Within seconds, it jumps to many subjects without raspite. How to control the vageries of the mind? Arjuna asked the same question to Shri Krishna during the kurukshetra war. The Lord, out of compassion to the myriads of human beings in the earth has chosen Arjuna to propagate the Gita. Gita is the milk and Arjuna is the calf. Through Arjuna, Geeta Upadesh is meant for the entire mankind. Krishna said, "Arjuna! No doubt that the mind is very queer and strong. But, with steady practice, it can be tamed and nullified. But it requires steady one pointed attention to tame the mind. The pulls and pushes of the mind must be ignored and we should remain as a 'pure witness' as Swami Himself IS. Then the waywardness of the mind won't drive us mad. Sairam.
