Guest guest
"Slow and steady wins the race". This proverb applies equally to "sadhaks" of spirituality. Swami has made it clear: a mad rush in the begining, then slowing down and again speeding up is no good in spiritual field. Take one step at a time. Let it be firm and steady before climbing the next higher one". It is equally true in our mundane life too. We gain confidence if we slowly but steadily move ahead. Even in a running race, there is an event called "marathon" where the participants have to run for 10 to 15 kilometres at a stretch. Those who are trained, make a slow start and they usually lag behind others. When the last few laps are still there, they slowly gain momentum and steadily improve their position. In the last lap they gather one pointed concentration and set to win the race. If you expend your energy in the initial laps, you will become tired to run the final rounds. Hence as per Swami's guidance, "Start early, Drive slowly and reach safely". Sairam.
