Guest guest
Our mind and intellect can never lead us to God. He is the closest, nay He is within our own heart. But we seek him in far off places, in churches and temples, in mosques and Gurudwaras. How we can find Him there when we have lost Him beneath the debris of our desires and decisions. Hence Swami commands us to remove the thick body consciousness, which hides the light of the soul. But it is not an easy preposition. Even Arjuna was caught unaware in the thick coils of 'mamata' or my own people. Shri Krishna, though compassionate at the plight of Arjuna, jeered at him. Wherefrom this weakness has entered in you Oh Arjuna? Leave your weakness. Take your bow, think about Me and fight. It is your innate duty to fight a war which has befallen on you. You were eagerly awaiting for this great war. Now you want to run away. Why this discomfiture in you? Arjuna could not reconcile himself to fight with Bheeshma, Drona, Acharya Krupa. He was the darling of those grand sirs. How can he think of aiming his arrows on those who have fondled him on their own chest. However Shri Krishna will not accept the arguement put forth by Arjuna. He simply told him, Arjuna, the people for whom you bear so much affection are already slain. You just be my instrument and do your duty. Arjuna's delusion could come to an end only after listening to the verses of Bagawat Geeta. The Lord has conferred on him "Divya Sakshu" and granted him "Viswarupa Dharsan". Understanding Him as the Origin and End of all the beings, Arjuna could not stand on the effulgance of the Lord. He pleaded with him to revert to his normal form. Bewildered, he surrendered at His feet and accepted Him as his charioteer, the Sanathana Sarathi. Sairam.
