Guest guest
All are pilgrims in the journey of life towards god. Each secure their beloved form of God, through a guru or from the promptings within. If only we are sincere and faithful our path is made free of obstructions. Craving nothing from this mundane world, desiring nothing from the senses, if we are able to lead our life in a contented manner, coveting nothing from others, it is the highest sadhana. Doing the duty in a disinterested manner but diligantly is the highest yoga. The same is the teaching of Shri Krishna to Arjuna during the Kurukshethra war. No body could gauge the sudden delusion of Arjuna when the chariot was placed in between the Kaurava and Pandava forces. It is the Moha or attachment to the physical forms of great grandfather, guru, close relatives and friends made Arjuna's head to reel. He laid down his powerful "Gandhiba" on the floor of chariot, wailing internally like a woman. Shri Krishna was greatly astonished at the pussilinamity of the great warrior Arjuna. Rest is history. The message is not only for the warrior Arjuna. It is for the entire mankind to abandon weakness arising out of attachment to kith and kin. One who is able to maintain absolute equanamity during trying times, when the safety and security of their very kith and kin are in peril, he only can be termed as a courageous man. But we all shiver at the slightest provocations of fate, but we long to attain great stages in spirituality. If only we could relinquish the body consciousness, we can progress well in the noble path. Sairam.
