Guest guest
Swami has said that a pond of water gets polluted easily since it is stagnant. At the same time water flowing in a river is comparably purer, though human negligence cause pollution even in a flowing river. For example, river Ganga which was very pure in ancient time become the most polluted after receiving the sewage and effluents that is flown in there by the disgrunted and selfish people. Now the Govt spends huge amounts of money to clean the ganges but the result is negligible. The leather industries, the textile industries all let out their waste and harmful chemical mixed sullage in the mother Ganga. Unless each man corrects himself and become pure, how he can ensure a clean environment. In the Bagawat Gita and other spiritual texts it is laid that all should maintain both inner as well as outer cleanliness. Bahya and Bahava. Swami emphasised this point in the earliest lectures. Let us maintain cleanliness in our environ and in ourselves. Sairam.
