Why should we work in foreign countries?

Swami has time and again restrained students from yearning for multi national companies in foreign countries seeking fat pay cheques. The reason Swami attribute is 1. The cost of living in foreign countries is very much exhorbitant. People say they recieve Rs.50000/- per month in a foreign Job. But if we calculate the expenses incurred by them on housing, boarding , healthcare and other expenses, (more than 40000/-pm) it may not be a wise choice. In India the pay may be little less but the expenses too are considerably less unless you are extravagent. 2. You must encounter extreme climates which may not be suitable to our physical conditions. Hence we must be satisfied with the chance of serving in our own country though for a lesser pay. Secondly Swami has said that instead of tending our aged parent who long for the company of their sons, if we indulge in luxuries in foreign countries, it is really a sin. When we become old we will ourself realise the same with our own experience. First of all, Money is not the be all and end all in life and hence we should not becomes slaves to western cultures and forget our own. May Swami instill necessary values on the youth of our nation so that they are not disillusioned by the 'foreign moha'. Sairam.
