As there is no end to the space, also there is no end to the time. God is described as "Kala swarupa", Kaladeeda and in different adjectives. In fact, God controls the time but He is absolutely unaffected by the element of 'time'. The Lord is Eternal, Ever. Also He is Sath, the Ever Existing Supreme Principle. None can delenate God and describe Him in ordinary human tongue. It is beyond the ken of highest of souls. Hence in the scriptures and Upanishads, God is described in negative terms like "Neti Neti' meaning "not this, not this. Swami very beautifully ascribed a different meaning to this "Neti". We literally mean it as "not this". But Swami explains this as "Not only this, but it is more than all this. The Ocean contains the waves and foam. While indicating the waves, we can say, that the ocean is not only this, it is more than all these. Sairam.
