Guest guest Posted February 18, 2008 Report Share Posted February 18, 2008 Ego is the demon which caught the "Jivi" unaware. The Jiva is deluded much due to the body consciousness. Selfishness and Ego are the two pests which haunts the Jivi. In fact, the Jivi is the reflection of Paramatma. But, Paramatma remains as a pure witness unaffected by the vagaries, the body of the Jivi and the Mind undergoes. Until the Jeevi, realizes the relationship it has with the Paramatma, it will be under delusion only. Hence realization is nothing but discarding the unreal and realizing the Real. Sairam.
