Swami himself has penned many immortal vahini series, that came as series in the magazine, "Sanathana Sarathi".It was grand old Kasthuri, who used to collect it from Swami, the handwritten "Telugu" manuscripts in Swami's own hand writing, and send it to the press to typesetting and after checking the proof, finally gets it printed. A long process awaited Kasthuri, the booklets have to be got trimmed at Bangalore, brought back to Nilayam, wrapped and address pasted and then finally despatched to different destinations, throughout India and to some parts of the globe too in the English version. It was solely Kasthuri, who undertook the unenviable job for many years until Prasanthi Nilayam acquired the automatic press machines. His labour is akin to "Bayaji Ma' who used to wander in the jungles for Sai, who used to remain absorbed in his own self, till she finds him under some desolate tree or near some rock.He will be sitting oblivious to the outer world. Bayaji Ma,used to spread the leaf in front of Baba, and put the Chapathi and subji in front of Him and forcefed him. Many years she wandered daily in search of Sai. Likewise Kasthuri too toiled in the initial hybernating periods for bringing the "Sanathana Sarathi" to shape as as Editor, as a messanger, as a peon and finally as a despatcher etc. He was a multifaceted personality who never showed himself but remained very humble. But Swami wont leave him like that. He has given him ample opportunities of service in many ways. Kasthuri acted even as a acting Post Master in Prasanthi Nilayam for some time. Considering his long association with Sai, we can surmise that it is his good fortune which brought him to the Presence of Divine and enabled to him to act as a first messanger of Divine Sai from Prasanthi Nilayam.
