Guest guest
Our conscience is often clouded due to worldly entanglements. If a glass covering a light source is not clear and contain dust, the light will not be visible clearly. If it is covered by soot, no light can be seen from outside. Our body consciousness too acts as soot in the glass. A turbulent surface of a water surface can not become transparent. A clear surface of a undisturbed lake will enable us to see the bottom of the lake and the fishes that swim there. Hence we must endeavor to keep our conscience free from pollution from worldly ambitions. This can be possible by focusing our mind on the Self or God instead of the world and its attraction. Regular practice to keep the mind focused in the Self is known as "Meditation" which is really expulsion of all thoughts arising in the mind. Only way to meditate, is to keep our focus solely on the Self. Sairam.
