Guest guest
Om Sairam dear Sai family With heavy heart and sorrow, want to inform the sad demise of Prof.Anil Kumar’s 80 year old mother in law,Chintapalli Vimala Devi, who breathed her last breath, around 4:30 pm 8th Febraury 08. A sudden shock to Prof. Anil Kumar’s family who were just recovering from the sudden departure of Prof.Anil Kumar’s mother.. Any one would think that Sri Anil Kumar’s mother inlaw would have died of heart attack or any other sickness common to her age but shockingly, she was allegedly killed by some un indentified men who apparently came to robe her house. They tied her hands and legs and put a plaster on her mouth so that she doesn’t shout while they take valuables but she died in no time probably due to suffocation and fear.. the men who saw her dead fleed the spot leaving the chosen mother of a family closely associated with the Avatar of this Kali Age, our beloved Swami….. She is survivied by 3 daughters and a son of whom, Mrs.Anil Kumar is the eldest. she preferred to live alone in her ancestoral home in Guntur about 20 hours drive from Parthi..and many times expressed the desire to breath her last breath in the same house where her husband died.. A visibly moved Prof. Anil Kumar’s family have already reached Guntur and all other children living in USA are expected on Sunday.. She was in Puttaparthi in August 2007. She had the beautiful smile on her face and gave a familiar glance at every one.. I first saw her in one programme where Mrs & Mr.Anil Kumar also participated. As I was filming the programme, Prof.Anil Kumar looked into the camera and said, eevida maa Athagaru neeku telusa, (do you know she is my mother in law), for which she smiled and held Prof. Anil’s hand tightly, her eyes were saying, she is so privileged to have a son-in-law like him..she was a very pious woman, very much devoted to Swami and always doing namasmarana. Wickedness has crossed its limits in this Kali Age and I can’t understand, how any one would evey thing in their wildest dreams to harm such a sweet person. Death is definitely uncertain and the time we spent in this body is very important.. She utilised her time in the body to the maximum extent and in a spiritual way… May Swami bless the departed soul and forgive the culprits who commited this unforgiveable offence, and if this incident has happened in this sacred land of Bharat, then its definitely shameful… Physically speaking Professor’s mother in law had a tragic end but spiritually speaking a NOBLE AND HUMBLE soul’s BODY had a tragic end leaving a thought provoking message to the man kind.. HELP EVER HURT NEVER….. Amma where every you are bless us all to be as divine and as sweet as you… Dear brothers and sisters, pls close your eyes for a minute ask Swami NOT to let this kind incident happen again.. lets all pray to Swami, to guide us to be more and more divine and be His children, His darling children.. Guest guest
Dear Sir, This is one of the questions asked by several people. We must understand one thing. Avatars never declare that they descend on this earth to make their devotees' lives a bed of rose. In fact, this is not the job of Avatars at all. The wheel of Karma revolves impartially and no one can escape the consequences of theri actions. If protecting devotees is the role of Avatar, that could have been very well accomplished from Kailash or Vaikunth. Every one for that matter is devotee of some God or the other. Don't we see people facing dangers while going on pilgrimate to Badri, Kedarnath, Amarnath, Sabarimala, Mecca, Jerusalem and so on. In such cases, we never question why things happen that way. However, when it comes to Bhagavan Baba, we ask, why is he not saving or protecting His devotees. This is because, we are always clouded by materialistic outlook and view living a comfortable life as a be all and end all. Looking back into history, let us recollect the suffering undergone by Avatars like Rama, Jesus, Prophet, Moses and others. When Krishna was always with them, Pandavas had to undergo misery all through their life. If they led a life on the bed of roses, perhaps we would not talk about them or the epics would not have come up to guide the world. Great things in life are nor wrought without suffering. Suffering in human life is something like crushing and squeezing a sugarcane that brings out sweet juice. Troubles and suffering are gateways to wisdom and God realisation. They purify heart and elevate men to higher planes. Prof. Kasturi and whole lot of other devotees too were not spared by the wheel of Karma. Their lives too were not smooth. Every devotee underwent troubles and turmoils. In fact the sufferings of devotees were more than other people. Therefore, considering that troubles are essential for purifying heart and the fact that Avatars descend on this earth to purge us, are we going to appreciate that God is giving us troubles to purify us? Kunti, the mother of Pandavas asked Krishan,"Krishna always fill my life with problems. Whenever I have troubles, I remember you. If i have troubles alays, I can live in your constant remembrance." Why not we realise the logic and rationale behind this stand and accept life as it comes as divine Prasad? Afterall, all this come and go, but once we are purged, the divine realisation stays for eternity with us. Let us prepare ourselves to reach that level. Sairam and lots of loving regards, Dr. A. Guest guest
Sai Ram to you all. Of course all that has been said is correct from all points of view. Will ones point of view change when so called important things are taken away from us? For the majority it will. Even to advise someone how they should feel is futile. One can only come to the below conclusions when you have experienced suffering and become aware, that it is all Karma and then a real sense of acceptance comes in. This is not an overnight proccess but a slow but sure realisation saturated with real life experiences. Advise is great but go and feel. Experience the PAIN and then see how you feel, be in that moment and realsie what it truly is. Its ok, even this will pass. You have to come to the conclusion yourself. First the pain experience, then the lack of understanding, then the knowledge that its all cause and effect and then tolerance and finally acceptance. Even the aforementioned experience is not linear and intermingles. Should we relinquish understanding? I have come to tghe conclusion it is better to be silent, what is there to discuss and analyse except ONESELF? Guest guest
Dear Satya narayan, I am really moved by what you narrated, I was pondering on this incident since the time I came to know the news.As you correctly said no one can escape from ‘karma’. May be acquired from the current life or bonded past karma. Everyone has to go through this phase. So we can only pray to swami to make this journey of karma a sweet passage without having its influence. In one of his discourses swami said that, I will make you cross the river of Karma on a safe boat without knowing the pain. Sairam ! She was in Puttaparthi in A ugust 2007. Death is definitely uncertain and the time we spent in t his body is very important.. Guest guest
Dear Dr.Satyanarayan, At the outset let me thank your goodself for giving your precious time to mail out anexhaustive reply to my query.I agree with all that you have said namely that we cannot escape our karmic consequences, life is not a bed of roses but is a mixed bag of good and bad events and suffering is for our good and that we have to learn to be equanimous at all times etc. Swami is referred as 'abath pandhwa' in the namavalli and we know that Swami has saved so many devotees and non devotees also from the jaws of death be it illness or accidents. If Prof.Anil Kumars's mother in law had a natural death or was saved from a violent death then there would be no query at all.It is only because she was a very devout and pious lady i am wondering why Swami did not protect her from a unnatural death. I was wanting to find out if there is any other explanation other than the standard answers like karmic consequence or God's ways are inscrutable etc. Thanks once again foryour nice and informative mail. Sairam and Best Regards,K.s.Vishwanathan.Tel No: 022-28738192 - Sathya Narayanan Anantharaman Monday, February 11, 2008 9:46 PM Re: [sBOI-post] sudden demise of Prof.Anil Kumar's mother in law Dear Sir, This is one of the questions asked by several people. A.
