Guest guest
When an emperor was passing through a forest after conqering many countries, the soldiers accompanying the emperor found a recluse lying in the path through which the emperor was likely to proceed. They asked him to get away from the path, since the emperor was fast approaching. The recluse never budged nor answered the soldiers. The emperor came to the site where the recluse was lying. He roared, "Hey Old man, don't you know that i am the emperor? Why don't you clear from the path? The recluse looked at the emperor but kept quiet. The King said, "My soldiers will kill you instantaneously. To this the recluse replied, "I will not be killed by any weapon. You can only hurt the body but I am not this body". Realising the potency of the words of the recluse, the king descended from his horse and prostrated before the recluse. He thought within himself, "If this old man can exhibit so much courage, then what about the youngsters in this country. Hence he retraced his steps hurriedly instead of invading the country. That was "Bharata Desa" and the invader was none other than "Alexander". That was the strength and glory of spirituality confers. Hence be fearless and understand that you are a spark of the supreme cosmic person. Sairam.
