Guest guest
People feared to approach Shirdi Baba, when he seems to be angry and shouting. At times he used to throw the mud pots and other things at the devotees. Some got beating also. But, his anger is veiled 'blessings'. In fact, He shouts at the demons which spoils the devotees. He exhorsises them by his anger and shoutings. Only the deeply devoted like "Mahalsapathy, Shama, Tatya and other close devotees were able to appreciate his anger. When "Mega" approached Baba for the first time, Saibaba shouted at him, saying "Why you have come here? Your sanctity will be poluted by the company of Musalman etc". Mega was really astounded at the knowledge of Saibaba to his innermost thoughts. He was not willing to visit Shirdi. He was given to understand that "Saibaba was a Musalman and He spoils the Hindus". However he went away and came after one and half years. This time on his behalf, another devotee interceded and he was allowed to worship Baba. Mega was a pure and innocent soul. He considered Baba as an Avatar of Shiva. To proptiate his Shiva, he used to walk miles to collect "Bilva leaves" by which he will offer worship to Baba. He wanted to do ritual bath to Baba. Hence on one "makara sankaranti day", he requested Baba to wait till he bring water from the river "gomathy'. Baba did not concede. He said, "I am a Muslim, and i have nothing to do with all these bath etc., But, Mega did not budge. He went to river gomathi(24 miles to and fro) by walk and brought a pot of holy water to the masjid where Baba was sitting. He asked Baba to get ready. Baba pleaded with him, Oh Mega, do atleast this. Since the head is main part, pour the water on the head. But Mega, due to his full faith poured water on the head as well as body of Baba. To his astonishment, only the head was wet and other parts of the body was not affected. When Mega passed away, Baba shed tears like a close relative, and he touched the body of Mega and thrown flowers. Baba himself has performed poor feeding for the memory of Mega. Such was the noble soul which merged in Baba. Sairam.
