Guest guest
Swami says, "Do not hate anybody in this world". This is in fact a small instruction to us, but do we follow it in day to day life. We nurture our own likes and dislikes. We love somebody and we hate some. The main reason for attraction and repulsion depends upon how we get along with certain people. In a society, it is common to find that all are not cordeal with every other. Some have harsh manners and some exhibit soft manners. Naturally the soft natured people do not like the harsh behaviour of others. They repel such people. But Swami says, 'that the very same Atma which is in yourself is enshrined in the other man who behave tough with you. Human nature is to look at the outer form, their mannerism, their talk etc. Naturally we are prejudiced with some people. Swami says, "Judge not". Why? because we are incapable of judging since we are not perfect in all ways. Only a perfect being can judge others. Who is perfect in all respects. No doubt, it is none other than Swami. But, have you seen at any time that Swami exercise his judgement on any. No. Swami neglects our vices, praise our virtues. In this way, we are encouraged to improve our virtues and reduce the vice. It is very rare, Swami criticise any. Even if he so does, it is done privately only to improve the behaviour of such one. Generally He is particular that those reside in the Ashram permanantly, develops impeccable character and conduct so that outside visitors should never find fault with the inmates. Sai organisations stand for utmost discipline, devotion and duty. Hence the leaders should be perfect in all respects. Hence He used to chide them often to remove even very minor mistakes. Sairam.
