Guest guest
He told me during 1965, "say Sairam, Sairam". I was ignorant, unable to gauge the treasure he unfolded in front of me. Now even in 2008, i still remain ignorant. Swami in one of his discourses and also in "Dhyana Vahini" has clearly said that meditation should be like pouring oil from one vessel to other vessel, a continuous pouring of oil. I understand the example. Not even a few seconds, the mind remain inactive. If i start to utter the name, it seems like a mechanical one. No love to the utterance. i was anxious that it should fructify. With all these negative mindset how i can embark on "meditation"?. Even i am unable to concentrate for few minutes. Concentration is below the senses whereas meditation is above the senses. Initially mind may seems to be a helper. In fact, the mind has to be jettisoned for True meditation. Swami has said, when the meditator, the process of meditation and the aim of the meditation, when all these things colasce as one and the meditator has no feeling of himself as a meditator, then only it could be termed as "Real Meditation. Sairam.
