Guest guest Posted January 17, 2008 Report Share Posted January 17, 2008 An Avatar comes in human form so that we all can move with him, speak to him, touch him and be spoken by him. Yes, it is a rarest chance, an individual can be proud of. But we should not stop at this stage. Having seen God in human form, our next quest should be to listen to his nectar like advice. We have one more responsibility. Having put our faith on his immortal teachings, we should put into practice atleast one or two of his advices in our day to day life. Then only we will understand that it is not an easy task to follow the Divine in letter and spirit. We should jettison our ego and selfishness, then alone we will be comfortable in following His great teachings. Retaining the ego and body consciousness and trying to follow the Divine is like travelling on two horses. In no time, we will sustain a miserable fall and injure ourselves. Ofcourse, it is difficult to become perfect to follow the Master. We can follow His commands and simultaneously we should strive to remove the ignorance in us. There will be initial hiccups in every noble attempt. Have courage and faith in His teachings and He will Himself grant you the strength to follow Him. Sairam.
