Guest guest
Instead of reading thrash novels and stories which depict the dark side of humanity, let us utilise the our time and energy in reading the life and teachings of great people who have adored the earth for the sake of us. Let us read those immortal epics, "Ramayana" and Mahabarath". They are not mere stories. They teach mankind "Righteous ways to live in this world, to move with our companions, relatives, friends, parents, elders and gurus. They depicts that "In perplexing situations, how we should behave? "Ramo Vigrahawan Dharmaha". Rama is the embodiment of "Righteousness and Truth". His ways are beyond human comprehension. In one moment "He was to be coronated as Yuvaraja of Ayodhya". The next moment, he was asked to leave for the forest and live there for 14 years. But He maintained "equinamity" in both the situations. He never exulted at the prospect of becoming a King, nor He was crestfallen at the prospect of living in the forest. His supreme detachment came into the foreground. Even Lakshmana was very furious at the sudden turn of events. But Rama pacified Lakshmana and asked him not to utter reprehensible words. He asked him to remain calm. Not only He was stern in adhering to Dharma, He exuded "Karuna" on many occasions. When a small squirrel, in order to participate in the seva of Rama, while forming a bridge to Lanka, the squirrel carried some dust on its tail and shook it vigourously in the ocean. Such was its love towards Rama. Rama too recognised it, and took it on His palm and carassed the back with the palm. Lo and behold, there was three marks on the back of the squirrel. All squirrels now have this Divine imprint. It is the Karuna of Shri Rama. Sairam.
