The Raja of Venkatagiri near Tirupati was a staunch devotee of Swami during 50s. He was fortunate to have the contact of Swami, when Swami was in His teens and residing in Patha mandir(the old mandir now turned into a marriage hall in the name of Pedda Venkapparaju). Swami also frequented the palace at Venkatagiri. During one of His visit to the place, Swami found one sheet of postal stamps with King George's figure. Swami just scanned those sheets with His Divine Hand and Lo! All the stamps were transformed into the photo of 'Bala Sai" with his name etc. Swami materialised one marble statue of Shri Krishna for putting in the palace. But Swami asked the Raja to cover the statue with a silk cloth for one day. The next day, to the astonishment of all the statue turned into 'blue' colour. Those were the days of leelas of Bala Sai. Though we were not fortunate to visit Swami during those good olden days, still we can enjoy reading those childish pranks of Bala Sai as in the case of Krishna with His friends in Gokul. Sairam.
