Guest guest
We mortals are after fame and fortune. We never realise that the fame and fortune are illusions created by the mind. Swami's mission started on His 14th year. Swami's body is 81 years old. He consumes very little 'Ragi gruel'. For all the work, Swami undertakes, the meagre 'ragi gruel' would never be sufficient. When some devotee questioned Him, how he get strength from this meagre food, Swami's answer was stunning. Swami told the devotee, that He gives energy to all and nothing gives him energy. The devotee would not have put this question to Swami, had he realised that Swami is "Shiva Sakthi". Our memory is feeble. Swami need to repeat the same truths in every one of His discourses. Hence He addresses all as "Divyatma Swarupullara or "Prematma Swarupullara(Embodiments of Divine Atma, embodiments of Love etc). We hear it with awe, but forgets everything, the moment we reach the bus station for our journey back to home. Hence, it is no wonder, we visit year after year Prasanthi Nilayam, take Dharsan of Swami, hear His beautiful discourses, nod our head and return empty headed to our destinations back home. Is it not ridiculus? Sairam.
