Guest guest
The 'i' must turn into 'you'. Here 'i' is ego and 'you' is god. Swami has narrated an example regarding the annihilation of ego. We know that the drums are made up of the skin of cows or bulls. When we beat those drums, we get a sound resembling 'ham, ham'. Only when those skins are finely torn into thin wires and made into instruments, the sound resemble, 'thum thum'. As long as our ego is thick, we too resemble the drums and the sound resembles 'ego filled sound'. When our ego too is torned into thin wires, we too will give the sound as "Tum, Tum(God). Previously we consider all actions as our own. Once rid of ego, we reverberates as Tum(God). Swami subjects us through many such torments by which our big ego is torn into pieces and we realise the reality, i.e., god. Sairam.
