Guest guest
The present moment is most glorious moment. Why should we leave the "Present" and suffer anxieties and fear of past and future? No body has asked you to move backward or forward in the time concept. Safest is the focus on only the present moment. We are not going to lose anything when we remain in the "Present". It is by dwelling in the past and future, we lose the precious "Present moment also", with what result. We invite worries and tension by dwelling in the past and future. Do not see behind. Do not try to dwell on the future. You will get nothing. It would be mere day dreaming. If you are one with the Present, you gain your own self. Mind is a great force. It will never allow us to focus on the "Present". In fact, the mind can never survive in the Present. The mind is wedded to time and space. The present is not 'time'. Swami says that the "Present is Omnipresent". You are one with god. Try practicing. There may be initial hiccups. The mind will forcibly try to withdraw you from the present. Neverthless, it is possible and we can confidently and safely embark on the "Present" conscious always. Sairam.
