Guest guest
The world today is chaotic. People hurry in break neck speed. What they want to achieve rushing through the various schedules they have fixed? In ancient days, people go on pilgrimage by foot or at the maximum by bullock driven cart. Now even air travel has become very normal for most. People want to reach their destination(?) speedily and comfortably. When we walk, the maximum risk is that we may fall down due to slip. When we move a little faster, the fall will lead to more bruises. If you move by a motor bike, you run the risk much more. What to talk about planes and jets, we may imagine the risks associated with all these. Swami says, "start early, drive slowly and reach safely", a concise word of caution. This applies not only to our travels in this mundane world but also in the journey of spirituality. We have to tread very carefully in spiritual path. Absolutely no hurry. If we are fortunate to have a preceptor, he will guide us in the safest path. We are all fortunate to have Swami Himself as our inner motivator as well as our guide. It would be prudent to give our utmost attention to Swami's guidelines in spiritual as well as mundane life. Sairam.
