Jesus, love and compassion personified, has chosen mother Mary and blessed her with His birth. It was immeculate conception as in the case of Swami. What a humble begining for such a glorious child? It was the stable, with no primary fecilities for the delivery. But Jesus has chosen such humble circumstances. Has not Swami too commenced His Avatar's journey from the humble surroundings of the remote unknown village, "Puttaparthy". He has chosen the mother, the place, the time. Every event in the life of Avatar is preplanned or predetermined, same as in the case of Jesus.The events in the life of Jesus were foretold in the scriptures albeit in a hidden manner. Each read a different meaning from those scriptures. It was John who predicted the arrival of the 'son of god' to the people around. Jesus has clearely foretold the coming events in His life to his disciples.But they were not able to understand the implications of his words. Only when the events materialised, they were able to co-relate his wisdom. Whether it is ancient or modern days, the purpose of incarnations remained one and the same.
