We can taste Divinity when we are bereft of worldly attachments.

Swami very often says, that a malarial patient will be unable to taste any thing, due to the virus fever. We are all like the 'malarial patient'. We too suffer from the fever of earthly attachments. Hence we are not able to infer the taste of Divinity. Until the fever comes down, we too have to undergo the fever caused by the attachments to the sensory world. It may take one birth or several births but the ignorance will vanish by the grace of god. In the Bible also it is mentioned, that even the lowest of creature, would be liberated one day. Hence, we need not grieve about our slow progress in spiritual field, nor we need to compare notes with other spiritual aspirants. All people irrespective of their condition, ultimately would merge in the supreme one day or other. Shirdi Baba used to say, "Stay, Cast off anxiety". Let us all rejoice that we got the precious human birth, and are under the guidance of our lord, Swami. Sairam.
