Guest guest
Many of us, might have experienced a sublime peace, while reading the life history of saints and sages who adored the earth, for the sake of upliftment of humanity. Harmony and peace will be the under current in their life. Though they might have met very harsh circumstances in their day to day life, they never forget the purpose for which they have taken birth in this world. One such is "Shri Ramakrishna. Though he was an illeterate as far as worldly knowledge is concered, He mastered the love of other worldly. He frequently went into "Samadhi" even when he was a boy. While walking through the fields, he saw a row of white swans passing through the dark sky. Immediately he swooned unable to contain the joy. Even when he was talking to his devotees, he easily slipped into 'trance'. He will be like a statue, his face reflecting the supreme joy of union with Divine mother. Who can gauge such noble souls. Even Vivekananda feared that the Guru of Dakshineswar hypnotised him. In fact, he wanted to escape from the clutches of the 'guru'. Though he left the presence of his guru, he was led back mysteriously to the same place against his own volition. That is the attraction of the "Super Magnet", Shri Ramakrishna. The Holy wedding with mother Sarada was the pinnacle of the glory. He literally worshiped "Sarada" by seating her on a wooden plank and doing all the rituals meant for mother Kali. She also conducted herself befittingly to the level of Shri Ramakrishna. They never lived as a husband and wife in the mundance sense. They lived like a Divine couple. We have to read such holy stories to get rid of our ignorance. Sairam.
